Black Walnut Basket
This basket was started with 4 sliced black walnuts. Three more sliced walnuts were used in the sides and create a triangle shape. The diameter is approximately 7 1/2 ” and is about 1 1/2” tall. Brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed dark brown needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat and wrap. This is a super nice basket! There is also a hanger on the back.
