Brown Oval Cardinal
This basket was started on a 5” hand made and painted pottery center, and features a cardinal. This is approximately 8 1/8 x 6 5/8 x 1 1/2”. Brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some darker dyed needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat and wrap, and there is a hanger on the back.
