Large 2 owls with handles
This basket is approximately 8 1/2” in diameter and 2 ” tall, and 10” handle to handle, It was started on a handmade and painted pottery center featuring two owls. The stitches are wheat, and wrap, with decorative stitching on the handles. Brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed dark brown raffia and needles for contrast. There is a hanger on the back.
