Large Flat Chickadee
This basket was started on a 3” piece of hand made and painted pottery center featuring a Chickadee. This is 8 3/4” in diameter and 3/4” high. The stitches used are fern, wrap, and wheat. Brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed dark brown needles for contrast. There is a hanger on the back.
