Large Purple Bouquet with Handles
This basket is approximately 8 5/8 ” in diameter and almost 10 1/4” handle to handle, and 2 1/4 ” tall. It was started on a hand made and painted pottery center featuring purple flowers. Green long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed green needles and raffia for contrast. The stitches used were wheat, wrap, fern , and a decorative stitch was used on the handle. There is also a hanger on the back.
