Medium Owl with Handles
This basket was started on a 2 1/2” oval hand made and painted pottery center and features an owl. The stitches used were wheat, wrap, spiral, and a decorative stitch was used on the handles. Dark brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed needles for contrast. This basket is approximately 7 1/4 x 8 1/8 x 1 3/4”. There is a hanger on the back.
