Medium Deer with Handles
This basket is approximately 7 1/4 x 8 1/4” in diameter and 1 3/4” tall. It was started on a 2” hand made and painted pottery center featuring a deer. The stitches used were wheat, wrap, and spiral with a decorative stitch used on the handles. Brown long leaf pine needles were used as well as some dyed dark brown needles for contrast. There is a hanger on the back.
