Medium Humming Bird with Handles
This basket is approximately 8 ” in diameter handle to handle and approximately 2” tall. It was started on a hand made and painted pottery center featuring a humming bird. The stitches used were wheat, wrap, spiral, and a decorative stitch was used on the handles. Green long leaf pine needles were used as well as some dyed dark green needles for contrast. There is a hanger on the back.
