Medium Lavender Basket
This basket was started on a 2” piece of hand made and painted pottery, and features a lavender sprig. This basket is approximately 5 1/8 × 1 3/4” in diameter. Green long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The green needles have faded a bit, but this is still a nice basket. A lavender sprig was pressed into the clay before firing. The stitches are wheat and wrap.
