Mini Black Bear
This basket was started on a 2” round piece of hand made and painted piece of pottery featuring a black bear. The spiral stitch was used, and this basket is approximately 5 1/8” in diameter and 1 1/2” high. Brown long leaf pine needles were used along with dyed dark brown needles for contrast.
