Oval 2 Bears
This basket was started on a 5” piece of hand made and painted pottery center featuring two bears on dimpled whiteclay. This basket is approximately 8 1/8”x6 1/2 x1 3/4”. The stitches are wheat, wrap, and spiral. Both green and brown long leaf pine needles were used along with dyed darker needles for contrast. There is also a hanger on the back.
