Oval 2 Bears
This basket was started on a 5” oval piece of dimpled hand made and painted pottery, and features two bears. This basket is approximately 8 1/4” x 6 3/4” x 1 5/8”. Both green and brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed needles for contrast. The stitches used were wheat and wrap, and there is a hanger on the back.
