Oval Cardinal
This basket was started on a 4 1/2” oval hand made and painted pottery center and features a cardinal. It is approximately 6 3/4 x 8 1/4 x 1 1/2”. Green long leaf pine needles were used along with dyed needles and raffia for contrast. The stitches used are wheat and wrap. There is a hanger on the back.
