Oval Violets
This basket was started on a 5” hand made and painted pottery center and features violets. This is approximately 7 x 8 1/2 x 1 1/2” in diameter. Both green and brown long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles for contrast. The stitches are wheat, wrap, and spiral. There is a hanger on the back.
