Large Cardinal with handles
This basket is approximately 8 1/2 x 9 3/4 x 2 ” and was started on a 3” handmade and painted pottery center and features a cardinal . Green long leaf pine needles were used along with some dyed darker needles and raffia for contrast. The stitches are wheat and wrap, with a decorative stitch on the handle. There is a hanger on the back.
